She will stop you in your tracks with her big beautiful eyes. She is a senior cat with cattitude, she can get along with other cats but prefers to be the boss. Evelyn can boss like no one else, she gets grumpy but moves on quickly with her cattitude. She needs to be on a senior dry food diet as canned food upsets her tummy. This girl loves the heated blanket on the back of the couch, she will curl up in the sunshine coming through the window and the heat of the blanket, she is comfy. Her owner left her behind when he moved, neighbors wouldn’t let her in but they did put a bed and food out for her. She has been in a foster home for over a year now, she is happy but really does deserve a home of her own and some much needed one on one. She got out either late last night 3/22/21 and was hit by a car as her left back leg was broken in 2 places. She was wet and injured when Jesse brought her into the house at 4:30 a.m. I warmed up a towel, dried her off in front of a warm fire. She is hurting but sleeping on a down comforter in front of the fire place. I took her to Baum Bandon Veterinary at 1 p.m. on 3/23/21 and Doctor Hitner examined her leg, took x-rays and found 2 fractures, heart murmur and kidney failure. She is a senior cat. It would not be good to amputate or put a pin in her leg, a young cat could survive but not a senior cat. It was best to Put her to sleep. Bye bye sweet Evelyn. Life was so much better in foster care where you could enjoy walks in the sunshine, grass and fed the right food so you didn’t shit yourself to death (Friskies canned food sucks).
